While all the big macro-brewers are working on making the lightest beer possible, the small microbreweries, especially in Europe, are working on making the strongest beer possible. A few months ago Brewdog out of Scotland released their Tactical Nuclear Penguin, but now a new brewery in Germany has topped them. Schorschbraeu Brewery recently released their Schorsch Bock 16, which is a whopping 40% ABV, putting it in the range of some of the top liquors like whiskey, vodka, and rum.
Available in 0.33 liter ceramic bottles, personally signed and hand-numbered by the Braumeister himself. Each bottle is sealed with wax by hand and comes in a wooden case with a transparent window on one side.
