Just tried this beer for the first time and damn, there's so much flavor- coffee and chocolate being the most prominent to me. Compared to Founder's Backwoods Bastard, the bourbon seems more rounded in the KBS. I agree that it's best slightly chilled; once it approaches room temp. it gets a bit thick, but still freakin delicious. For 11.2% ABV it's way too easy to drink.

Thanks for reading, Kevin. Where did you find KBS at this time of year? Did you stumble upon a bottle or on tap, or did you buy it last Spring and held onto it? Either way, I’m super jealous. Just popped open a Bell’s Batch 9000. It too is delicious. If you’re a KBS fan, you’ll like it too. I’ll have the review up tomorrow.
